Lakshmi Rai received royal treatment in IPL 5 opening ceremony
Lakshmi Rai’s name has been now associated with controversies. It has been more than six years that Rai has been in the industry. But she has been recognized now as an actress of substance. Her back to back hits on office Ajith’s Mankatha and Raghava Lawrence’s Kanchana has done wonders for her.
She bagged many films after her recent hits. She is engaged with her Tamil Telugu ventures too much these days. Yet when she arrived by a specially chartered flight from New Delhi to Chennai for watching the opening ceremony of IPL 5 Cricket tournament, she grabbed many eyeballs apart from some frowns.
She was dressed in one of the sexiest outfits for that evening. She is reported to stay at the ‘presidential suite’ at the Taj Coramandel where most of the players were putting up. Normally such suites are allocated for high ranking politicicns and beaucarts form other countries. Thus it remains a secret who got the suite booked for her if she did not book it herself.
When prodded, she just said, “I’m a simple girl (yes, of course!) My lifestyle is different and I live life on my own terms. I don’t need to share each and every minute detail about me with the press. In fact, I don’t feel I should react to all that’s being said and written about me!”
